Getting there

How to reach Berlin

Berlin is one of Europe’s best-connected capitals – direct ICE trains, Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) and the A10 motorway ring put the whole continent within easy reach.

By train

Berlin Hauptbahnhof is a major ICE hub – Hamburg 1h45, Hannover 1h45, Frankfurt ~4h, Munich ~4h. DB Event Tickets available for participants.

By plane

Berlin Brandenburg (BER) – 30–45 min to the centre via Airport Express (FEX) and S-Bahn. Direct flights from across Europe and beyond.

By car

The A10 Berliner Ring links to the A115 (AVUS) for Dahlem. City parking is limited – public transport is strongly recommended.

In Berlin

BVG U-Bahn, S-Bahn, trams and buses run across the whole city. Take the U3 to Freie Universität (Thielplatz), a short walk from the venue.

Accommodation

Stay nearby

Berlin offers a wide range of hotels within easy reach of the venue by U-Bahn and S-Bahn. Book early – 12 - 17 Sep 2027 is a busy travel window in Berlin.

Please note: the DGM has no partner travel or accommodation agency for Ti-2027. If anyone contacts you offering to arrange hotel rooms on the symposium's behalf, treat it as a fraud attempt and do not share payment or personal details. Official messages come only from DGM email addresses.
